The OSQ and the Choeur de l’OSQ were accompanied by soprano Ellen Wieser and baritone James Westman for Johannes Brahms’ A German Requiem.

The Orchestre Symphonique de Québec (OSQ) and its choir filled the Grand Théâtre with strong emotions on the evening of April 25. The audience listened intently to two tempestuous pieces by German composer Johannes Brahms: Begräbnisgesang (Funeral Hymn) which was immediately followed by A German Requiem (sung in German instead of the usual Latin).
