Patrick Scalabrini won his 500th game at the helm of the Capitales when his team defeated the Rockland Boulders 3-2 on July 21.

With a month and a half to go in the regular season, the Capitales de Québec of the Can-Am Baseball League are well positioned to make the playoffs.

Even though the Capitales lost to the Rockland Boulders 5-4 on July 22, the Caps are still in second place, six games behind the league leaders, the Sussex County Miners of Augusta, New Jersey.
