The Brontë Sisters - Anne, Emily and Charlotte - as painted by their brother Patrick Branwell Brontë. Branwell originally painted himself between Emily and Charlotte, but later painted himself out (circa 1834).

It’s difficult to imagine the rugged beauty of the Yorkshire moors without thinking of Heathcliff and his beloved Cathy in Emily Brontë’s only novel, Wuthering Heights.
