Remembering Canada’s worst disaster – 100 years later

Crowds gathered in the pouring rain at Fort Needham Memorial Park on the 100th anniversary of the Halifax Explosion. The set of bells in the tower were from a nearby church that had installed them in 1920 in memory of victims of the disaster.
