The twenty-one-year-old University of Ottawa student, Julien Labrosse, discovered his passion for history and political science while studying at CEGEP Champlain-St. Lawrence. He is the first page from Quebec to be selected Chief Page since the current program began.

Quebec City’s Julien Labrosse was named the Chief Page in Canada’s Senate Page Program from among fifteen full-time university students who represent their provinces or territories. The Office of the Black Rod confirmed that he is the first Chief Page ever to identify French as his mother tongue and the first page from the province of Quebec since the current program began in the 1990s.
