The Grands Feux Loto-Québec began with a spectacular premiere on Aug. 2. One of the best views is from the Quai Paquet in Lévis, with Quebec City in the background.

People wearing cowboy hats, boots, jeans and plaid shirts danced their way through the evening of Aug. 2, as the 24th Grands Feux Loto-Québec (GFLQ) marked its opening. Country music and line dancing were on the schedule before the sky lit up with 3,500 fireworks. The GFLQ continue through Aug. 23 with thematic shows on Thursdays and Saturdays.
