Holding the $27,620 cheque for Operation Enfant Soleil are Jérémy Plourde, Jacques Tanguay (president of the Québec Remparts), Martin Tremblay (chief operating officer of Québecor Sports and Entertainment Group), Matthew Boucher (captain of the Québec Remparts) and Pierre Karl Péladeau, president and chief executive officer of Québecor.

It was probably the worst-kept secret in junior hockey… but it was the news the Quebec Remparts organization, players and fans wanted to hear.

Hall of Fame goaltender Patrick Roy signed a two-year contract to return as general manager and head coach of the Remparts. He had been coach of the Remparts from 2005-2012 and the NHL’s Colorado Avalanche from 2013-2016.
