Quebec airports require expensive facelifts

Air travel business is booming. As a direct response, airports around the world are upgrading their facilities to accommodate the increase in air traffic. Renovations at Quebec City’s Jean Lesage International Airport are almost done and work on Montreal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport is set to begin this fall.

There's no "obligatory" stop in Toronto or Montreal when flying to the U.S. from Quebec City. YQB has direct flights to Newark, Philadelphia and Chicago, and passengers just go through customs upon their arrival.
