Singers, storytellers and authors Lewis MacKinnon (left) and Michael Newton (right) gave a fascinating presentation on Scottish Gaelic literature, poetry and song at the My Morrin event which was organized by Ann Cochrane (centre).

Scottish Gaelic scholars gave a most interesting talk at last Wednesday’s “My Morrin” series entitled “Literature of the Scottish Gaels in Canada.”
Guest speakers Michael Newton and Lewis MacKinnon recited poetry and sang songs in Gaelic, with English translations, and spoke about the Scottish Gaels’ literary contribution to Canada.
