St. John’s Masonic Lodge invites you to brunch


 St. John’s Lodge, Quebec City’s English-language Masonic Lodge, is having a brunch on Saturday, April 13 at 10 a.m. at the lodge building, located at 51 Rue des Jardins, in the Old City. Free parking is available at the nearby Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. Everyone is welcome, men and women alike. A very sumptuous brunch will be served, including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, toast, hash browns, orange juice and hot beverages. Martin Parrot will give a talk on the history of the spread of knowledge from the Middle East to Europe in the 15th and 16th centuries and its influence on modern-day thinking. The duration of his talk will be about 30 minutes and there will be a discussion period after. The cost of the brunch and talk is $10.
