The story behind Avenue Wolfe-Montcalm

The monument to General Montcalm stands in front of the Concorde Hotel at the corner of Cours du Général-de-Montcalm and Grande Allée Est.

Avenue Wolfe-Montcalm is named in honour of the British and French generals who fought on the Plains of Abraham, on Sept. 13, 1759.
