Alfred Rouleau was the founder of L’Assurance-vie Desjardins.

This street in the Pointe-de-Sainte-Foy district of Quebec City was named in honour of Alfred Rouleau (1915-1985), a businessman and president of the Fédération du Québec des Caisses Populaires Desjardins, Quebec’s largest credit union. Born in Sherbrooke, he was elected president of the federation in 1972 and served until 1981.
