The story behind Rue Arthur-Maheux

Arthur Maheux (1884-1967) was a man of the church and a historian.
This street in Cap-Rouge is named in honour of Arthur Maheux (1884-1967). Born in Sainte-Julie-de-Mégantic, he studied theology at Université Laval and was ordained a priest in 1908. He taught at the Séminaire de Québec, then furthered his studies in humanities and philology in Paris from 1913 to 1918.
