The Secondary IV and V students of Quebec High School’s music theatre class staged their presentation of Beauty and the Beast last weekend, in the school’s Webster Auditorium.

How many Right Reverends does it take to ordain an Anglican bishop? Well, there were at least 13 at the ordination of the Venerable Bruce Myers, OGS, held on May 5 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Quebec City.

Valcartier’s heritage celebrated at former Ski Lodge

As part of the Valcartier Settlement Days celebrations, a supper was held on April 24 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the former Valcartier Ski Lodge, 60 years of education at the École secondaire Mont St-Sacrement, and the Auberge du Mont.

2016 Défilé de la Saint-Patrick an “ode to spring”

The seventh annual Défilé de la Saint-Patrick paraded into Old Quebec City on Saturday, March 19, charming the thousands of residents and visitors who crowded the sidewalks all the way from Avenue Cartier to Quebec City Hall and Place d’Youville. The parade also ushered in spring, which officially began the next day, March 20, at 12:30 a.m. EDT. 

Go Green for Quebec City’s Défile de la Saint-Patrick

The seventh Defilé de la Saint-Patrick, Quebec City’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, will take place on Saturday, March 19, starting at 1:30pm. From St. Patrick’s High School to Porte Saint-Jean, all are invited to come celebrate the continued impact of Irish immigrants on our beautiful city by proudly displaying a touch of green.

Quebec City’s seventh annual Défilé de la Saint-Patrick / St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place on Saturday, March 19, departing from St. Patrick’s High School on Rue de Maisonneuve at 1:30 p.m.
