Morrin Centre unveils Voices from the Crossroads for 400th

Voices from the Crossroads is the theme for Morrin Centre's planned festivities for the 400th anniversary of the city of Quebec. In the company of its many partners on Tuesday, the centre unveiled its plans, which stretch from January 2008 through December.

The Quebec Art Company invites the public for a toe-tapping fun time! The musical, Oklahoma! will be presented on November 29, 30, and December 1 at 8 p.m., and on December 2 at 2 p.m.

Members of the Quebec Art Company are gearing up for Oklahoma! This Rodgers and Hammerstein musical is sure to be a family crowd pleaser with its familiar songs and pertinent themes. It's also the 100th anniversary of the state of Oklahoma, from where hails the QAC's Judy Moore (Ado Annie).

Rosheen celebrates 10 years

The internationally acclaimed Celtic ensemble Rosheen will be celebrating 10 years of existence on November 16 at l'Anglicane, 31 Rue Wolfe, Vieux-Lévis, at 8 p.m. Harvesting their influences from native Québécois songs, then intertwining them into the heart of Irish traditional music, you'll hear everything from smooth ballads to invigorating polkas!
