Place Jean-Béliveau saw some 1,500 elegantly dressed people arrive on Aug. 22 for the 10th Dîner en Blanc, and no one knew where the party would be held until their buses arrived at the Videotron Centre parking lot. In spite of threatening clouds, only a few drops of rain fell early in the evening. Nothing could dampen the participants’ excitement and fun as the chic picnic progressed into the evening.
