Many activities took place on the Plains of Abraham on Sept. 7. The playground area in front of the Musée national des Beaux-Arts du Québec was alive with children and their parents having a grand time on bouncy castles, trampolines and climbing walls, getting their faces painted and much more. Corn on the cob and hot dogs were available, compliments of IGA. Also enjoying the festivities and greeting constituents were Catherine Vallières-Roland, deputy mayor of Quebec City and councillor for the district of Montcalm-Saint-Sacrement; Mayor Bruno Marchand; and Mélissa Coulombe-Leduc, councillor for the district of Cap-aux-Diamants.
