Qualified as host of the U Sports national basketball championship in early March, the Université Laval Rouge et Or stunned everyone by winning their first ever title, defeating the Queen’s Gaels, 77-71, in front of a sold-out Amphithéâtre Desjardins at the PEPS on March 10.
