It is with broken hearts that we announce the sud- den passing of Glen Doddridge (owner and operator of Creative Trimwork and Painting). He passed away at the age of 62 at Montfort Hospital, Ottawa, on Jan. 5, 2025, as a result of a cardiac arrest.

Originally from Quebec City, Glen was a friend to all he met. He was a kind and loving man who enjoyed life to the fullest. Glen touched people’s hearts with his smiling face, his playful teasing and his generous, thoughtful nature. His needs were few; his gifts were many.

Glen was an incredible husband and father to his wife June, son Brodie and daughter Kailyn. They will forever hold him in their hearts. Glen was predeceased by his parents Elwin (Buddy) and Nancy (nee Dawson) and sister-in-law Donna Larkin. He leaves behind his much-loved sister Jayne (Jacques); Larkin in-laws Lloyd and Pat, Ron and Deb, Tony and Laura, Phil and Marisa, Kevin and Wendy; nieces and nephews Emma, Elliot, Tia, Devon, Alison, Brandon, Jenna and Daniel; and too many extended family members to mention.

A celebration of Glen’s life was held Jan. 15 at Heritage Funeral Complex in Orleans, Ont.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Glen’s memory be made to the Friends of Valcartier School (gofundme.com/f/friends-of-valcartier-elementary) which was dear to Glen’s heart as it is led by his sister Jayne and niece Emma.
