Bill 21: Use of notwithstanding clause would run roughshod over rights of English-speaking Quebecers

QCGN president Marlene Jennings is very concerned about the fact that the Legault government is considering the use of the notwithstanding clause to strengthen Bill 101.

The Quebec Community Groups Network (QCGN) is alarmed that Premier Fran├žois Legault has foreshadowed that the Quebec government may invoke the notwithstanding clause to limit the linguistic rights of English-speaking Quebecers.
