Please quit smoking, for your health, for the health of your loved ones and for the health of the planet, but at least don’t litter our streets and pollute our lakes, rivers and seashores.

They’re everywhere – on the beach, in front of office buildings, in parks and parking lots. Cigarette butts pollute: 30 per cent of all litter found on our shorelines consists of butts. Just one cigarette butt can pollute three litres of sea or fresh water.
