Claire (Hardy) DAWSON
1941 - 2019

Claire Hardy, wife of Donald Dawson, died at Jeffery Hale Hospital on Nov. 12, 2019, surrounded by her loved ones. She was the daughter of the late Allan Hardy and the late Claire Légaré. She lived in Quebec City.
Besides her husband Donald, she leaves to mourn her children Derek (Julie Gauvin) and Debbie (Chris Giguère); her beloved grandchildren: Dylan, Ryan and the late Jack. She was the sister of Bob (Louise Laroche), Guy (Marie Castonguay), Madeleine (Simon Rouleau) and Lucy, and the sister-in-law of Doris Dawson (Maurice Bernard) and Dennis Dawson (Ann Laberge). She also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, cousins and precious long-time friends.
The family will receive condolences at St. Patrick’s Church, 1145 Rue de Salaberry, Québec, QC GlR 2VY on Friday, Nov. 22 from 2:30 to 4 p.m., followed by a celebration of her life.
After the service, relatives and friends are invited to gather in the lower hall of the church, where refreshments will be served. The parking for the church is in the second underground level of Îlot St-Patrick. Bring your parking ticket with you to the church.
The family wishes to sincerely thank Dr. Anne Savard for her devotion over many years. Sincere thanks to the nursing staff of the palliative care unit of CLSC Haute-Ville and to the exceptional staff of the Jeffery Hale Hospital intensive care unit. An enormous thank you also to Dr. François Piuze for the marvellous care Claire received over the last weeks. Claire would also have wanted to thank Kim Latour for her help, support and love.
