‘Dangerous situation’ in city as red zone reimposed

During a press conference on March 31, Mayor Régis Labeaume expressed his dismay at the recent increase in new COVID-19 cases necessitating a return to red zone restrictions.

After less than a month under relaxed “orange zone” COVID-19 restrictions, the Legault government threw residents of Quebec City, Lévis and Gatineau back into the red zone, for a minimum of 10 days and on barely a day’s notice.
