Dennis Rioux began collecting war memorabilia after learning about his uncle, Marcel Rioux, who was a dispatch rider in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War. He rode a motorcycle to take messages between the front and headquarters.

Dennis Rioux was the guest speaker at a recent meeting of Irish Heritage Quebec (IHQ). He brought with him a small part of his large collection of war memorabilia and spoke about how he caught the “collecting bug.”
