EQLC International Lunch kicks off fundraising for 2019 Community Christmas Hamper Campaign

The cafeteria of the EQLC was packed with tables of contented diners for the International Lunch. On the menu was Pabellòn Criollo, which consisted of Venezuelan shredded beef, black beans and white rice, with coleslaw on the side.

The Christmas Hamper fundraising campaign kicked off on Nov. 20 at Eastern Québec Learning Centre (EQLC) with the annual International Lunch. This year it featured Venezuelan cuisine, prepared by the school’s in-house chef, Mika Takahashi. Due to the participation and support of the EQLC’s staff and the students in the Hotel Reception program, the event was a huge success.
