The Montreal Canadiens honoured Karl Tremblay, lead singer of Les Cowboys Fringants, before their Nov. 16 game against the Vegas Golden Knights at the Bell Centre. Tremblay, who died at age 47 on Nov. 15, was a Canadiens fan and played hockey in a beer league near L’Assomption. He always wore no. 76, the year of his birth. Thousands of cell phone lights lit up the Bell Centre as the song “Les Étoiles Filantes” played in the arena. (Screenshot by Luc Lang)
