Imagine a virtual Imagination Writers’ Festival at the Morrin Centre

Due to the ongoing pandemic and restrictions on large indoor gatherings, the Morrin Centre will be holding the 2021 Imagination Writers’ Festival online from April 6 to April 11.

This year’s festival is free! To support the Morrin Centre and its cultural programming, however, festival-goers are encouraged to make a donation. The suggested amounts are $10 for an individual event or $30 for the equivalent of a festival pass.

There are 16 events, including writing workshops, a cooking demonstration, book and wine pairings, activities for children, and readings and conversations with the authors of the featured books.

The Imagination book sale is always one of the most anticipated parts of the festival. La Maison Anglaise, which has partnered with Imagination since its beginning, will again be the place to buy the featured books. This year, 30 per cent of the sales of books featured at the festival will be donated to the Morrin Centre and invested back into Imagination.

For more information about the 2021 Imagination Writers’ Festival, see the booklet inserted in this edition and visit the Morrin Centre website at to register for the live virtual events.

Note: The Quebec Chronicle-Telegraph is proud to be a sponsor of this year’s Imagination Writers’ Festival.
