Jennifer Hobbs-Robert receives Rachel-Bureau Prize

This past September 17, Jennifer Hobbs-Robert was awarded the 2015 Rachel-Bureau Prize by the Ordre régional des infirmières et infirmiers de Québec, their highest distinction at the regional level.

Recently retired from her position as Director of Nursing Care and Quality at Jeffery Hale – Saint Brigid’s, Jennifer is dynamic, inspiring and an honour to the nursing profession. She has motivated her colleagues throughout her career, while always keeping patient well-being at heart.

What sets Jennifer apart is her deep commitment to helping people in a respectful manner and her unparalleled professionalism. Interested in health promotion and prevention from the outset, her dedication took her above and beyond her official duties on countless occasions and led her to spearhead innumerable initiatives for the benefit those in need both in our community and elsewhere. In 2013, Jennifer was instrumental in helping Jeffery Hale – Saint Brigid’s attain Accreditation with Exemplary Standing, Accreditation Canada’s highest possible recognition.

Lecturer, teacher, member of several boards, she is an inspiration to many. Her 35-year volunteer involvement with the Heart & Stroke Foundation also earned her special mention. Fervent ambassador for her profession and motivated by the higher development of nursing skills, she shines for her mentorship, rigor, and her humanism. Congratulations, Jennifer!
