This photo was taken in January 2015 during the 102nd Quebec International Bonspiel, the oldest continuous bonspiel for curlers in Canada, held at the Club de Curling Jacques-Cartier, founded in 1925. The Bonspiel has run every year since 1913 in the city known as the “cradle of curling in North America.”

(Editor's note: Due to COVID-19, the 2021 Bonspiel has been cancelled.)  

January 20, 1871 – The Morning Chronicle   Our Railways – A recent London journal commenting upon our system of railways gives the following description: – Quebec will soon be better provided with railways – those pioneers of commercial prosperity – than most of the British colonies.
