Young Men’s Christian Association – Considerable interest was evinced by the members present, in the subject discussed at the meeting of the Young Men’s Christian Association on Thursday night, and we are glad to have to announce that the young men decided to strain every nerve in order to accomplish the erection of an Association Building. It is pleasant to record the fact that those present on the above occasion were greatly encouraged in their resolve by an offer of one hundred dollars towards the desired object, made by a lady who has on more than one previous occasion given substantial evidence of her sympathy with the objects of the Association.
