The Université de Montréal Carabins hold high the Dunsmore Trophy after their 12-9 win over the Université Laval Rouge et Or.

The mighty Rouge et Or were defeated on their home turf last Saturday, in an overtime game that put an end to Laval's hopes for the Dunsmore Trophy and its 11-year winning streak in the Quebec football conference. This also means the Rouge et Or will not go on to compete for the Uteck Bowl and the Vanier Cup.

QCT photographer, Jay Ouellet said, "It was a very disappointing game for our Rouge et Or. Especially frustrating with critically bad interference penalties against Montreal which the referees did not call, as seen on TV as well as in photos I took."

Laval coach Glen Constantin said, "All good things come to an end. We were up against a very determined team.
