In 1968, before heading off to England, John Creary (front row, far right) was a goalie for the St. Lawrence College senior intercollegiate hockey team.
With the encouragement of good friends from Quebec City, I decided to write about my year playing in the British Ice Hockey League.
I attended St. Patrick’s High School and then St. Lawrence College. I graduated from Université Laval in 1977, and was accepted for a 12-month master’s program in urban geography and planning at the University of Durham, England.
