QAC performers Larry Hodgson and Jane Dickinson rehearse their lead roles as the eccentric Elwood and his scheming sister Veta  in the upcoming production of Harvey.

Preparations are continuing for the Quebec Art Company's production of Harvey, a comedy by Mary Chase. The story revolves around an eccentric man whose unusual friendship with a pooka causes confusion and consternation among those around him. First produced in 1944, this Pulitzer Prize-winning play is best known from the subsequent film adaptation starring Jimmy Stewart and Josephine Hull, who won an Academy Award for her performance. A local cast of twelve is busy rehearsing their parts under the direction of Cheryl Rimmer while other QAC members are working on costumes and sets. Performances will run from November 27-30 at the Holland Elementary School - for tickets and further information call 418-254-6552.
