CORRECTION

Incorrect date and time information for two St. Patrick’s Day events have appeared in recent print editions of the Community Calendar. The correct dates and times are as follows.

Saturday, March 16 at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. – The 55th annual Shannon Irish Show, organized by the Catholic Women’s League of Shannon, takes place at the Shannon Community Centre, 75 Gosford Road. Doors open one hour before showtime. Tickets – $10 per adult, $5 per child aged 6-12, free for children five and under– are available at the door only and cash only. Monday, March 18 at 7:30 p.m. – Irish Heritage Quebec presents a talk on the Irish language with Steve Cameron and friends in McMahon Hall of St. Patrick’s Church on Ave. de Salaberry. The presentation will be trilingual, including English, French and Gaeilge, ensuring an enriching experience for all. Free parking in the Îlot St-Patrick (second underground level). All are welcome and admission is free. Friends and members are invited to attend. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The presentation begins at 7:30 p.m. Please arrive before 7:20.
