QCT staff

As we announced early in January 2024, our friends at the Quebec Community Newspapers Association (QCNA) have announced an interesting opportunity for citizen photojournalists this year.

The QCNA Best Contributed Photo award will be given to a volunteer photographer from the community (outside the newsroom) who contributes the best photo to a QCNA member newspaper – such as the QCT – in 2024. The winner will receive a free ticket to the 2024 QCNA Better Newspapers Contest Awards Gala (in early summer 2025 at a location to be announced) and a certificate.

If you have a particularly eye-catching or newsworthy photo to share, please send it to editor@qctonline.com and we’ll be happy to consider it for publication.
