Joe Hardy started his professional career with the California Golden Seals of the NHL before going to the WHA.

Former National Hockey League (NHL) and World Hockey Association (WHA) player and Quebec media personality Joe Hardy died on Feb. 19 at the age of 75. Hardy had a history of heart problems and passed away after suffering a stroke.
