Huron-Wendat dancers, led by Steeve Wadohandik Gros-Louis, proudly showcased their culture and costumes during the opening parade of the Fêtes de la Nouvelle-France.

Quebecers and the Old Town went back to their origins for four days at the 23rd edition of the Fêtes de la Nouvelle-France (FNF). From Aug. 1 to 4, locals became soldiers, peasants, bourgeois, nobles and even royals of the 17th and 18th centuries.

Visitors fully enjoyed the parade along Grande Allée on Aug. 1, and the New France “village” in the Parc de l’Esplanade until Aug. 4.
