Religious communities proceed with caution

Some local churches, such as Quebec Baptist Church on Grande Allée, are cautiously reopening their doors for worship.

Parishioners at St. Patrick’s Church in Quebec City had to take an unusual step before showing up at last Sunday’s mass – reserving spaces online via Eventbrite.

Pre-registration is just one of a number of steps that local religious congregations are taking to reduce the risk of reopening since the province allowed indoor gatherings of fewer than 50 people in late June.
