Residents walk in silence to ‘reclaim’ the Old City

Rev. Christian Schreiner, dean of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, organized a silent walk through the Old City on Nov. 14, two weeks after the Halloween stabbings. Many participants carried homemade paper lanterns with candles inside.

Two weeks after the Oct. 31 stabbings in Old Quebec, which killed two people, injured five and caused widespread panic, Rev. Christian Schreiner, dean of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, invited people to join him on a silent and peaceful walk through the Old City.
