SNACS Book Fair less than a month away

It’s that time of year again when the community comes together for the SNACS Entrepreneurs Book Fair. This year we have added additional dates and times to accommodate those who can’t make it on Saturday. At this event, books donated by the community will be sold at $2 for hardcovers and $1 for softcovers.

The goal of SNACS Entrepreneurs is to offer on-the-job training opportunities and employment to people with special needs to help them develop their life skills and social and vocational abilities, while also providing the community with quality services. In keeping with its mission, SNACS Entrepreneurs will run the book fair as a work platform for special-needs adults and young people in our community.

We accept payment by credit and debit cards, in addition to cash. All proceeds will be reinvested in creating work platforms for people with special needs.

The book fair will be held at the Eastern Québec Learning Centre (EQLC), 3005 Rue William-Stuart, on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 24 and 25, from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
