Statement by the Prime Minister on Korean War Veterans Day

On July 26, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau issued the following statement on Korean War Veterans Day:

“Today, we honour the more than 26,000 Canadians who answered the call to serve during the Korean War. Despite being known as the ‘Forgotten War,’ the Korean War remains Canada’s third-bloodiest overseas conflict, after the First and Second World Wars.
