Louis-Alexandre Taschereau was the 14th premier of Quebec.

This street was named in honour of Louis-Alexandre Taschereau (1867-1952), who served as the 14th premier of Quebec from 1920 to 1936. Born in Quebec City, he was the son of Jean-Thomas Taschereau, a lawyer who became a judge of the Supreme Court of Canada, and Marie-Louise-Jos├ęphine Caron.
