OBITUARY: Robert GAGNÉ (1929-2023)
Robert Gagné died at the Hôtel-Dieu de Lévis, on Dec. 12, 2023, at the age of 94 years and five months. He was the husband of Margot (Marguerite) Villeneuve and the son of the late Narcisse Gagné and the late Diana Lambert. He lived in Saint-Rédempteur (Lévis). He is survived by his wife; his sons Paul (Nadhya Dumais), Charles (Nadine Trudel) and David (Julie Bilodeau); his grandchildren Olivier (Jessica Lauzon), Ophélie, Matthis, Marie and François; his great-grand- daughter Nova; his brothers and sisters Marcelle, the late Maurice (Murielle Landry), Jean-Claude (the late Ghislaine Drouin), Sr. Denise (Oblate of Mary Immaculate), Céline (George Saint-Amour), Lise (the late Raymond-Marie Lachance) and Louise (Jean-Denis Lachance); his Villeneuve brothers- and sisters-in-law Lucette (the late Lucien Bolduc), Irène (the late Jean-Yves Asselin), Nicole (Clément Poitras), the late Robert (Denise Perron), Richard (Jacinthe Poitras), Jocelyne (Germain Ratté), Gilles (Mireille Plourde) and Marthe (the late Gilles Plourde); as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and former colleagues at CEGEP Champlain-St. Lawrence College. Several of his siblings and brothers- and sisters-in-law preceded him in death.
Those who wish to can show their sympathy through a donation to the Fondation Albatros Lévis (albatroslevis.com). Donation forms will be available at the funeral home.
Family members will receive condolences on Friday, Dec. 22, from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Complexe Claude Marcoux, 1845 boulevard Guillaume-Couture, Lévis (Saint-Romuald).
The religious service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 23 at Église Très-Saint-Rédempteur, 2430 Route des Rivières, Lévis. The family will welcome guests starting at 10 a.m.
