OBITUARY

André Stein

(1950-2024)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of André Stein, beloved son of the late Jules and Libuse, and beloved father, who left us at the age of 73 on Sunday, July 7, 2024.

He is survived by his children Michelle (Derek), Mark (Geneviève) and Tanya (Gabriel), as well as his grandchildren Victoria, Adam, William and Zachary. He is also mourned by his brother George and sister Ann, his partner Eun-ju (Eric, Danny) and many relatives and friends. His departure leaves a deep void in our lives.

The family would like to thank all the staff of the palliative and end-of-life care unit at the Hôtel-Dieu de Québec hospital for their exceptional care and compassion, and everyone who offered their support during André’s illness.

Donations in André’s memory can be made to the CHU de Québec Foundation and directed to the Department of Palliative and End-of-Life Care, by phone at (418) 525-4385 or online at fondationduchudequebec.org.
