One of Turner’s best-known works, Light and Colour (Goethe’s Theory), depicts Moses writing the Book of Genesis the morning after the flood.

Now that the Frida Kahlo/Diego Rivera show is winding down, the art-loving public will be glad to know that the Musée national des Beaux-Arts du Québec (MNBAQ) has something sublime in store for this fall. It will be presenting a Canadian exclusive of the international exhibition called Turner and the Sublime.
