Anyone who thinks the Christmas holidays are long has never celebrated Chinese New Year! The Spring Festival, or Chinese New Year, has a different date every year according to the lunar calendar. The festivities to welcome the year of the Ox start with a feast on Feb. 11 and last for two weeks, ending with the lantern festival on Feb. 26.
