The delicate Erythronium grandiflorum, or yellow avalanche lily, glacier lily or dogtooth fawn lily, features a six-petal flower with brown seeds that hangs upside down.

Spring is here! The last rainfall has washed away the winter grey and replaced it with Mother Nature’s abundant palette of greens. Walking in the forest, we realize how the scenery has transformed in just a few days. The buds have started to open on the trees, and in a few days they will be showing off their new leaves. The forest ground is now green, with a mixture of grass and ferns.
