Lions basketball and hockey teams just keep on winning

It was another victorious weekend for the basketball and hockey teams at CEGEP Champlain–St. Lawrence. The Lady Lions basketball team won their two games at home this past weekend, while the men’s team put another tick in the “win” column. The hockey team also continued its winning streak.

Rouge et Or women’s basketball team wins the RSEQ season title

The Université Laval Rouge et Or women’s basketball team secured first place in the RSEQ conference with an impressive 62-52 win over the Citadins from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) on Feb. 15 at the Amphithéâtre Desjardins. The win clinched the regular-season title for the team coached by Guillaume Giroux.

It was another weekend to forget for the Québec Remparts, who lost both games on the road, in Victoriaville (5-4 in overtime) on Feb. 14, and in Rimouski (11-2) two days later.
