Corey Hart to kick off the 52nd FEQ on July 4th

The Canadian icon has added a curtain call to his Never Surrender tour. Corey Hart will kick off the 52nd Festival d’Été de Québec (FEQ) with “Sunglasses at Night” and other mega-hits on July 4.

After a very bumpy ride through turbulent air currents, it felt as if a Boeing 747 had landed at the Théâtre Petit Champlain last week.

Demolition of church building on Grand Allée begins

A fter years of court battles between the city and developer Louis Lessard, the demolition of Église Saint-Coeur-de-Marie on Grande Allée began last week. Workers on a platform suspended from a crane started removing the dome, made of metal and wood, from atop the steeple of the 100-year-old building piece by piece.
