Dear Graduates,

In school, you learn from the lessons your fabulous teachers present. To see if you have understood the concepts, you write a test. In life, daily situations do both: they are tests that teach you a lesson. What has this year taught you?

Is life full of surprises? Yes.

Is life about resilience? Yes.

Is life learning to live in a changing world? Yes.

We’re all in this together

It took a race riot to knock COVID-19 from the headlines.

This is not an indictment of the Trump regime south of the border or a demand for the Canadian government to speak out against the violence. It is a reminder that throwing stones is a pastime best left to those who do not live in glass houses.
